Hello friends, welcome back to Horrorscopes! Your monthly dose of astrology meets the one time of year everyone else finally gets on board with spooky stuff. It’s finally Halloween, so the veil’s thin, the candy’s out, and pretending you don’t believe in any of this is officially not allowed. This month is looking pretty good, with a few minor exceptions.

Aries (Mar 21–Apr 19)
You’re feeling bold this month, and it’s working in your favor, so stop hedging and go after the thing you actually want. A friction point with someone close smooths out fast once you stop trying to be right and just say the honest version instead. The 6th is a great day to put yourself forward for something you’ve been putting off. You’ll get talked into the costume contest at the last minute, and when you go to change, something’s already laid out on the chair for you, tags cut off, fitted exactly to your size, and it’s honestly a better costume than the one you were planning.

Taurus (Apr 20–May 20)
You’re drawn toward the cozier version of everything this month: slower plans, better food, people who don’t ask much of you. Give yourself permission to slow down before you burn out chasing something that can wait. The 11th is a great day to treat yourself to whatever’s been sitting in your cart. The candy bowl will refill itself overnight, which would be great news if you actually remembered buying that much candy.

Gemini (May 21–Jun 20)
Conversations move fast for you this month, and a few of them matter more than they seem to in the moment, so pay attention to what people are really asking. You’re pulled in two directions socially, and it’s fine to only show up for one of them. The 8th is a great day to say yes to the plan you’d normally talk yourself out of. On Halloween, a mask you’ll spot from across the street has eyeholes that track you no matter where you move, even though the person wearing it hasn’t turned their head.

Cancer (Jun 21–Jul 22)
Home feels like the center of gravity again this month, and it’s worth protecting instead of overextending yourself for people who wouldn’t do the same. A conversation you’ve been avoiding with family goes better than expected once you actually have it. The 16th is a great day to host, even if it’s just a small gathering. The walk-through haunted house will end exactly where your own front hallway begins, and the figure waiting there will already know exactly where you hide the good candy.

Leo (Jul 23–Aug 22)
You’re impossible to ignore this month, in the best way, and a few opportunities come your way simply because people notice you first. Don’t let a small slight from someone less important than you steal the whole week. The 20th is a great day to put your name on something you’ve been sitting on. Everyone at a Halloween party will telling you they love your costume, and even though you won’t be wearing one, you’ll be too flattered to correct them.

Virgo (Aug 23–Sep 22)
You’re at your sharpest this month when it comes to sorting out what’s actually worth your time, so trust the instinct to say no more than usual. A project you’ve been quietly perfecting is finally ready to be seen, even if it doesn’t feel finished to you. The 23rd is a great day to submit, send, or share the thing you’ve been sitting on. The scarecrow in the neighbor’s yard will face the road when you leave for the day and face the house by the time you’re back. Don’t question it.

Libra (Sep 23–Oct 22)
You’re better at reading a room than you’re giving yourself credit for this month, so trust the read instead of overcorrecting for it. A relationship that’s felt slightly out of balance evens out once you say what you actually want instead of what’s easiest. The 21st is a great day to make a decision you’ve been putting off for the sake of fairness. The face you carve into your pumpkin will be smiling when you check it the next morning. And even though you’ll be sure you carved it frowning, you won’t be able to decide if that’s unsettling or just a really good glow-up.

Scorpio (Oct 23–Nov 21)
This is your season, and it shows, in the way people suddenly take you more seriously without you having to ask. Something you’ve been circling for weeks finally comes into focus, and it’s worth trusting your first read on it. The 27th is a great day to make the move you’ve been quietly planning. You’ll sit in on a friend’s Ouija session, and the planchette will spell your name before anyone’s hands are even touching it, which is fine. Really.

Sagittarius (Nov 22–Dec 21)
You’re restless in a good way this month, and it’s worth following, even if the plan that results doesn’t make much sense on paper. A conversation with someone new opens a door you weren’t expecting, so don’t let politeness talk you out of walking through it. The 30th is a great day to book the thing you’ve been putting off booking. The haunted hayride will take a route through a field that isn’t on the actual map, and the driver won’t answer when you ask about it. It’ll probably make a great story, though.

Capricorn (Dec 22–Jan 19)
Work is where your energy wants to go this month, and for once that’s not a problem, since the people who matter are finally noticing the effort. A goal that’s felt stalled for a while starts moving again once you stop waiting for permission. The 2nd is a great day to ask for what you actually want instead of settling for what’s offered. The skeleton someone hangs in the break room will be in a different pose every time you go back for coffee, and no one else will seem to notice.

Aquarius (Jan 20–Feb 18)
You’re pulled toward your people this month more than usual, and it’s worth leaning into instead of retreating into your own head like you usually do. A group project or cause you care about needs your specific voice, so don’t hang back and assume someone else will say it. The 14th is a great day to reach out to someone you’ve lost touch with. Your porch pumpkin will flicker out and relight itself several times, grinning a little wider each time than you actually carved it. By the third time, you’ll be too freaked out to look directly at it.

Pisces (Feb 19–Mar 20)
Your instincts are especially sharp this month, so trust the pull toward or away from something before you’ve fully reasoned it out. There’s room for both a little romance and a little ambition this month, so don’t feel like you have to pick. The 13th is a great day to follow a hunch you can’t quite explain. Toward the end of the month, the fog will roll in shaped like something walking, and whatever’s underneath will knock twice before thinning back into ordinary mist.
