NINETOES VS. FALLOUT 76 SEASON 26

Ninetoes settled down in his C.A.M.P. for a night of catching up on the news, and oh boy, what he discovered!

Hey there, gamers! It is your old pal, Ninetoes, coming to you from Ninetoes HQ with a look at Season 26 of Fallout 76. I have my controller in hand and my thinking cap on, so let’s get to it!

Okay, fellow Wastelanders, mark your calendars. Season 26 premieres on September 15, 2026. There are a lot of changes coming with this update, so let’s dive into it.

The upcoming season will be called “The Slasher”; however, the rewards will be under “Beware of the Blood Moon”. To sweeten the deal, starting in season 26, players will be able to interact with “Legacy Seasons.” What this means is anyone who has come into the game late will have a chance to earn rewards from previous seasons. This will run ALONGSIDE the regular season. The Legacy Season this time is “Armor Ace”.

“The Slasher” will run all season. Each week, players will need to search for clues, dig up old graves, and fight off fanatics infesting the map. Needless to say, carry a shovel with you at all times. (They make a great weapon too!) This will culminate in a fight with the “Pint-Sized” Impostor himself. Players can earn a new armor set AND a new weapon, The Super Slasher!

Players will also be able to change the mods on the over 80+ named weapons in the game to meet their playstyle. This will run on the expensive side; rumor has it the cost of the change is 65 legendary modules (I know, right!), so grind every event you can.

Along with the content, there will be a Gen 9 boost for players on the XBOX X/S and the PlayStation 5. All console players will get a better playing experience through better performance, visual fidelity, and stability.

Personally, Fallout 76 is my go-to game and has been for around four or five years. I know I missed some goodies from the seasons, so I am looking forward to catching up.
