Ninetoes put his Game Pass to work and checked out the “new” Halo game. Is it worth it?

Hey there, gamers! It is your old pal, Ninetoes, coming to you from Ninetoes HQ with a look at Halo: Campaign Evolved. I have my controller in hand, and my thinking cap on, so let’s get to it!
Back in 2002, I traded in my PlayStation and games to get an XBOX and a few games. One of those games was Halo: Combat Evolved. It was a sci-fi shooter that took my breath away. Needless to say, as each game came out, I acquired them. As years went by, I started to suffer from “Halo-Fatigue” (my term; I was getting tired of a new Halo game coming out, much like fans of Call of Duty; after a while you think “Do we need another one?”). As to the answer to the question, you will have to wait a few minutes. Bear with me, please.
I want to run some numbers by you. When Halo: Combat Evolved came out in 2002, it ran around 2GB in total. Seven years later, it was re-released in the MASTER CHIEF edition, and the file grew to 9GB. In the Master Chief edition, they even had a button so you could see what it looked like then as opposed to now. The file size for Halo: Campaign Evolved is (sit down for this one) 70 GB. Yes, you read that correctly, 70 GB…and it shows! (sort of).
Here’s the deal: it is the same game as Halo: Combat Evolved. If you remember the old game, you know how the new game is going to shake out. It is a war between the UNSC and the Covenant and all that it entails. The missions are the same, the story is the same.
The difference comes in the controls, sound, and graphics. If you are a veteran of the series and played Halo Infinite, then you have an idea of what the controls are like. For those who are new, the controls are very similar to a Call of Duty game. The sound is crisper, sharper, clearer, and for the best effect, play with your headset on. All of the sounds come at you in surround sound like never before.
Then we have the graphics, and they are sublime. You are getting a cinematic experience. We are talking movie theater cinematic experience. I seriously feel like I am playing a movie and not a video game. I think the only way the graphics can improve at this point is for the Covenant army to march down my street.
This game is a love letter to Halo fans.
So, some questions:
Is this game worth the money? Yes!
Does this game have a high replay value? Yes!
Would I recommend this game to my friends? Yes!
And finally, do we need another Halo game? In this case, YES!
I give this one 5 controllers out of 5!
