Liz Ramos, under the supervision of Carrot Cake the cat, shares ways you can give your manifestations to the Universe while completing the mundane daily tasks…
Greetings witches! As we head into the summer months and times of hosting friends and family, storing and utilizing our garden harvests, sorting the things we don’t need any more for upcoming garage and yard sales, pool maintenance, and all the other mundane chores and upkeep to our homes and spaces, it can seem like there’s no time for witchy-ness! Don’t fret, you can always sprinkle your magic into that never-ending to-do list.
If you are like me and going through your home room by room and tote by tote to de-clutter, take some time before you start each day/room to thank it for providing the space for all of your items. Tell the space your intentions for it and what you would like to do within this space once you de-clutter it, and sit with the positive emotions and visualizations of yourself and your loved ones enjoying that area when you finally have it where you want it. As you move through the items and decide what is trash and what to donate, keep a feeling of thanks and gratitude for the joy those items brought you at the time you needed them. When donating, thank and bless the items to find their new owners and provide them with the joy and peace they once gave you, and let them free. When the physical clutter is gone and after you have vacuumed and mopped and physically cleaned the space, spiritually cleanse the space and tell the Universe what you would like to see in this space. For example, when I clean my office/library space, I ask that I receive inspiration and wisdom while in the space. I manifest peaceful snuggles with my kitties while I relax and enjoy my armchairs, and that it is a welcoming and inviting space that my husband feels welcome to spend time with me in to sip some coffee and share his own stories with me. I cleanse it of mental blocks or feelings of lack/insecurity in my workings, whether it be writing or another crafty endeavor.

When doing the dishes or meal prepping, thank the tools and utensils for aiding you in providing nourishment and comfort to you and your loved ones. Take the time to sharpen the knives, season the cast iron, and oil your wooden cutting boards. Give these items the love and care they give you. When making meals for parties or special events, tell the food and items what you are using them for. As you are cooking, bless it with love, peace, or whatever you wish to provide for those eating it. Using the foods and herbs/spices that correspond with your intentions of course always adds extra oomph, but you can use stirring magic or even simply speak to the dishes and tell them what you need from them. I find it always tastes better after doing this. And as always, cook it with love and gratitude. Food picks up on our energy and emotions, as does the water or other beverages.
If you tend plants or a garden, use the seeds/sprouts as manifestation tools. Speak every desire into them one by one that you would like to see into your life, and ask that as the plants grow, so do your desires. These can be as simple as providing for your family to larger asks like a raise at work, finding a new home, etc. As you tend to the plants, give your gratitude and thanks to them for being stewards of your desires and allowing them to anchor your dreams in their roots.
As you move through your to-do list, take a moment to think of all the ways you can manifest and invite the Universe in to give it a magic touch. May you find the hidden magic in the mundane this summer. Blessed Be.
