Hey there, television lovers. It is your old pal, Ninetoes, coming to you from Ninetoes HQ. Today I am looking at episode six of Daredevil: Born Again. I have coffee in my system, and my thinking cap on, so let’s get to it!
Wilson Fisk’s world has shattered.
The resistance grows.
The city is descending into darkness, and the question is quickly becoming who will be left standing.
The writing in these episodes gets better and better with every passing episode. This writing team continually showcases excellence and has not missed a single beat. Not only are they giving us a quality “Superhero” television show, they are mirroring events in the world and showing what can possibly happen if things go left unchecked.
The acting talent has maintained the quality established from the very first episode. It is difficult to say “X” is better than “Y”. I have often heard that the truest test of an actor is to make the viewer forget who they are in lieu of their character, and everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE in this show, has passed the test. If I had to pick a standout for this episode, it would be Debra Ann Woll. There is a moment where she makes a point, and it is a very valid point that fans of the show (well, at least me) have been making. She poured all of her heart, anger, and grief into this point.
The bad news is that we only have two episodes left in this season. TWO EPISODES!
The good news is that season three already has its storyline set up.
Until the next time, I bid you happy viewing.
