NINETOES vs THE FALLOUT MYSTERY

There’s a mystery box counting down to Fallout’s second season finale, but why? Ninetoes has some theories.

Hey there, gamers! It is your old pal, Ninetoes, coming to you from Ninetoes HQ with a look at some interesting developments at the site for the Fallout television show at Prime. I have coffee in my system and my thinking cap on, so let’s get to it!

A few days ago, on the green grid wasteland map for the television show FALLOUT, a locked box appeared in the upper right-hand corner. This box has a countdown timer attached to it, and doing some math and consulting my calendar, this clock will hit zero on February 4th. This just so happens to be the day that the final episode for this current season will air.

Needless to say, the internet is buzzing about what this could mean. I think it could mean one of three things.

1)      Previews for the next season.

2)      Either a release of the remake of the FALLOUT 3 game, or at the very least a release date for the game.

3)      Either a release of the remake of the FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS game or a release date for the game.

You see, for the past few years, there have been leaks of a Fallout 3 remaster/remake and a Fallout New Vegas remaster/remake. It is almost like the Nostradamus of the Internet decided to chuck a nugget out and see if the community goes bat-crap crazy for it. 99% of the time, they do. Personally, I think it is fun to see the supposed experts put out a video on YouTube and say, “This just came in, and I have no damn clue what it means.

BUT it is also worth mentioning that Bethesda is not making a secret of the fact that the remakes of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are quietly in the works, while they are also working on the newer games. It is sort of like, while the major work goes on with the next AAA installment of our favorite franchise (Fallout 5, anyone…anyone?), they are working on tickling our nostalgia feels.

At this point, all I can say is we will see what happens on February 4th. I will do my utmost best to keep you posted.

I wonder if bookies in Las Vegas have gotten in on this.
