ITS SHADOW MEANS DEATH!

Our friends at Madness Heart Games want to tell you about their first TTRPG, and it’s a Kaiju sized extravaganza create by some guys who love the big monster genres!

Hi! I’m Bizarro and Horror author Garrett Cook and I’m proud to be here at Memento Mori to tell you about a project I believe in and not just because I worked on it myself.

John Baltisberger, creative director of Madness Heart Games has put out several supplements and solo games through the company, but the feather in the cap is his own simple, elegant Badass System. The Badass System is loose and adaptable, capable of telling exciting and counter-cultured stories of super-powered heroes and insane nature wizards,  and now, something so big that … Its Shadow Means Death! The Badass system is growing not just in scope but in scale, now usable to make giant monster action happen in your game.

YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE HERE! ITS SHADOW MEANS DEATH KICKSTARTER

Its Shadow Means Death allows players to portray every side of the conflict between man and monster, (monster and monster) both the angry behemoth and the humans who now have to deal with species capable of wiping them off the face of the Earth! In the expanded ruleset, written by me, this even encompasses the cursed decisions local authority figures must make during a Kaiju attack. This book lets you make the giant monster movie of your wildest nightmares!

Right now, the Kickstarter is happening and Madness Heart is looking to leave a really big footprint. Reward tiers give backers access to PDFs, print editions, other games in the Badass System, and more! Simone Tammetta, our fantastic cover artist, can even turn your pet into a giant monster! Cat, dog, ferret, gimp…doesn’t matter to us, we’ll make it huge and we’ll make it scary with both an illustration and a stat block so you can crush your table under the weight of your furry, feathery,  scaly, or leathery friend! It’s the top tier, so it’s a big ask but we’re ready to Kaiju-ify your pet when you are!

The campaign ends Tuesday so cut your swathe of Kaiju devastation while you can!
