Hey there, book lovers! It’s your old pal, Ninetoes, coming to you from Ninetoes Loves Books Headquarters. Today, I have a question for you… I have coffee in my system and my thinking cap on, so let’s get to it!

Oh, dear reader, here is my question: How are you going to celebrate Tolkien Reads Day 2026?

Tolkien Reads Day is March 25, 2026. Yeah, I know, it snuck up on me too. I just happened to look at my Tolkien calendar (yes, it is a thing, and yes, I do have one) and noticed tomorrow is the day.

So, what I will be doing tomorrow is getting my cup of coffee in my Lord of the Rings coffee mug, and after checking my email and social media for any book deals, I might just crack open The Adventures of Tom Bombadil or might make my way to The Hobbit. OR I may go off Middle Earth Script and read Tolkien’s translation of Beowulf.

There are many books by Tolkien to choose from.

It all depends on what you are looking for.
